Material is a delicate, sheer cotton voile. Because of the sheerness, this dress must be worn with a bodiced petticoat. The fun thing is you can change up the look of the dress - wear a white petticoat (as in the pictures), and the dress takes on a light blue shade, wear a dark petticoat and you have a completely different dress!
Fastens in back with two drawstrings at neck and waist, and pull the bodice into gathers at the center front. Sleeves are long and slightly puffed at shoulder. Skirt is elegantly full gathered in back. Decorated with one tiny tuck above the hem.
Sheer dresses were extremely popular in the Regency era for their graceful movement, and lightweight comfort. They are great for summer events and dances!
