What a great piece of engineering. What a great conversation piece at your next get together. This mid century server hides a large bowl under a top that slides effortlessly out on either side. If that isn't enough wow for you, the whole thing spins on a lazy susan base. The 5 ceramic inserts look and feel like California pottery, and are in great condition. I can find no maker. Only that it is patent pending. The metal I believe is chromed aluminum. I polished it up with a bit of Mothers polish, Great stuff by the way you can purchase at any auto parts store. I can find one other like it on Ebay for much more than I am asking . This really looks MUCH better in person than it does in the pictures. It is really a nice showpiece for your retro table.
The snack server measures 17 1/2 inches from handle to handle closed, 26 inches open, while its width is 13 inches with a height of 6 inches. The base measures 9 inches in diameter. The bowl is 8.5 inches wide. Total weight for the server, with all pieces, is 9 pounds. I am pricing the shipping as if it will go coast to coast, insured. Plus it is in an oversized box which adds cost on shipping. Please note, any overcharge in shipping over one dollar is always refunded. Thanks so much for stopping.
