I specifically looked for CVM (California Variegated Mutant) fiber, since I read in a book that it had one of the finest micron fiber. And yes, the yarn turned out very very soft. (Amazing fiber from http://www.etsy.com/shop/StellasFiberFarm?ref=pr_shop_more)
I semi-blended in white Merino/Nylon top, but not completely blended to get the varying shades.
I'd say its a perfect yarn to make a hat for your boyfriend/husband for Christmas!
