Nothing is wasted in my studio. I love up-cycling scraps of fabric that I collect for years. Each piece has its story. Once it was a part of a shirt, a dress, kid's pants, or window curtains. It brings specific memories, little moments remembered in connection with that piece of clothing. And in my case, even memories of living in another country.
Some pieces of fabric are hand dyed.
Doll is embellished with variety of beads using free form peyote stitch and hand embroidered with embroidery threads. It's filled with Polyester Fiberfill.
