Vintage Golf Trophy

Very unique vintage silverplate golf trophy from Montgomery, Alabama. This is a gorgeous silverplate serving dish with a very ornate base on it. It measures 11" x 8" x 3" tall. Engraved in the bottom is:
24TH CHAMPIONSHIP
MONTGOMERY C C
1956
5TH FLIGHT WINNER
There is also a medallion in the center that has "Women's Alabama Golf Association" around the outside edge. Hallmarked by the Poole Silver Co. We have not polished it and have left it with its patina, however the plating is in fabulous condition so it would polish to a high shine if you desire!
