The written word is also well suited for the textural pages and, if you are one to write small, it's best when written first on tissue and then married to the pages.
Hours and hours were lovingly spent in the construction of this little brute which opens up mostly flat and closes securely with a vintage hand-dyed silk ribbon which loops through and antique sliver belt buckle. Vintage velvet and linen fabric in the color of a stormy sky adorn the spine along with clusters of dozens of well worn shell buttons. An original antique photograph of a home tucked in a grove of trees graces the top bringing a bit of light and color to the patina'd metal.
