The heart and soul of this skirt is the screenprinted squirrel holding a lace handkerchief. "Pihkahäntä" is original artwork made by Tiina Talvikki. "Pihkahäntä" is Finnish and means "rosin tail". It's an old nickname for the squirrels. Artwork is screenprinted by hand in colour black.
Material: Beautiful woven fabric, possibly cotton (or other natural fibre). NEW FROM OLD: Made out of a vintage table cloth.
Size: European S or M. Waist 75-81 cm (29.5-31.9 inches) (because of the elastic on the back). Length 54 cm (21.3 inches) (from top of the waistband to the hem).
Care instructions: Low iron temperature. Hand wash or gentle machine wash (water temperature 40°C).
There are only two skirts like this (I like to call them sisters; they are made out of the same table cloth). This listing is for the last one!
