The Leather Satchel is crafted from soft black 4oz cowhide. A simple design thats extremely durable. It measures 9" x 6 1/2" with an 54" handbraided strap. Will fit any size/height from a small child to full grown adult. The strap slides through strategically placed holes on the top of the flap making the Leather Satchel fully adjustable. The satchel can be worn off the shoulder or tied around the waist when the strap is pulled all the way out.
This was designed as an "asked for" accessory. Over the years I have sold protective leather book covers at craft fairs and Renaissance Festivals. Several customers had asked me to design a simple leather satchel to carry their paperback books. This is the design I came up with... recently I readjusted the size to accommodate EReaders also. This Leather Satchel will fit EReader devices up to 8" x 5" x .5".
The simplicity and convenience of the design have made this satchel a show favorite.
