This necklace features a hammered thunderbolt and circle and a beautiful lapis bead mounted on a delicate 16 inch vintage sterling silver chain. I've been doing a little research on the symbolism of the thunderbolt and found out that among all the different mythological definitions, the thunderbolt can also symbolize the coming together of thunder and lightening to form the ultimate creative union. That definition is what I was thinking about when I created this necklace.
