Sartre always got it right, from the profound to the prosaic. This particular quotation always rang true for me, doubly so after having kids.
The illustration is a deconstructed automatic pocket watch, having been thoroughly ruined by three o' clock which has usurped the day to perform useless acrobatics and taunt the viewer with the dangling useless watch hands. Careful inspection reveals the sad fate of the other 11 hours.

HOW I SHIP:
I pack my artwork in a clear protective sleeve with a heavy piece of 4-ply backing board for added rigidity and giftable presentation. I hate getting curled up prints in the mail, so I've gone to great lengths to ship flat in a rugged photo mailer that was custom-made in the US to my specifications, so it fits the artwork perfectly. The snug fit ensures that the artwork is as well protected as possible.
This is original artwork by Obvious State that is not endorsed by or affiliated with Jean-Paul Sartre. Prints ship unframed in a sturdy flat mailer with backing board for added protection.
