For sale is an exact replica of the necklace we made for the movie. The necklace is worn by actress Shailene Woodley throughout The Descendants.
The necklace is made from oxidized sterling silver, and an antique shell (approx. 50-100 years old) from New Guinea. Each shell is unique, and will differ slightly from the one pictured. They range from 16mm - 22mm in diameter. The last picture on this listing shows the range of the shells. If you have a preference, please let us know which # in the picture suits you and we will attempt to find the closest match.
The necklace can be ordered 16'', 17'', or 18''. Please let us know in the notes upon checkout. If no length is specified, we will send a 16'' necklace.
We worked with the amazing Wendy Chuck, the costume designer for The Descendants, to design this piece specifically for the movie.
