The subtle pastel colors featured in this stunning floral pendant light up like the sun hitting a tree in bloom. This image originated as a black and white illustration in a book of Japanese designs. I hand-colored the image using Corel Painter's digital watercolor brushes. The flowers are a light pink, blushed with yellow centers. The background is a pale minty green. The smooth, rounded glass of this pendant makes the image almost appear to glow. I printed the image using an Epson inkjet printer onto Epson premium presentation paper using DuraBrite Ultra inks. I then adhered the print to the back of a glass tile which measures approximately 1" in length by 3/4" wide.
I signed it in pencil on the backside which I then sealed under a coat of sun and moon glaze. I attached a silver plated bail and put it on an 17" silver plated snake chain. It's all ready to wear!
(Note: This pendant may be somewhat water resistant, but it is not waterproof. Do not wear it while bathing or swimming).
A perfect birthday or anniversary present. A great gift for garden or flower lovers. A perfect stocking stuffer as well!
