Namaka: The smaller, inner moon of the dwarf planet Haumea. It is named after Nāmaka, one of the daughters of Haumea. Namaka is only 1.5% as bright as its dwarf planet Haumea and is about 0.05% its mass.Photometric observations indicate that its surface is made of water ice. Haumea's moons are unusual in a number of ways. They are thought to be part of its extended collisional family, which formed billions of years ago from icy debris after a large impact disrupted Haumea's ice mantle.

****Please Note: The retaining rings used to create this piece were not made for jewelry, they are hardware for keeping pins in machinery so there will be color variations, I do my best to completely match the rings to each other but sometimes it just isn't possible... the fact that they are not uniform in color and consistency adds to the charm of these pieces and just reinforces the overall "Industrial" look
