This is one of the coolest pieces I have come across in a while, and I believe it is a rare piece as well. The bracelet features the hard to find window pane lucite beads in white with black lines (the window pane) and metallic gold windows. These stones were also used in Cathe jewelry, and some Trifari pieces, but they are hard to find. Window Pane lucite was done in several different color combinations. The bracelet is marked "TRIFARI" with a crown over the "T" on the back of the fold over clasp.
This bracelet is 7 7/8 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. The cabochon set clasp is 1 inch in diameter and 5/8 inches high. The beads are graduated in size, the large beads are 12 mm, the smallest beads are 8 mm.
The bracelet is in excellent condition. The lucite beads and cabochon have minimal use or wear marks, and no chips, cracks, scratches, or scuffs. The gold tone spacer beads are bright and free of tarnish, corrosion, or wear. The brushed gold metal on the clasp is also free of wear. The clasp works well.
This is a wonderful vintage Crown Trifari bracelet, and an unusual, even rare piece with the hard to find window pane lucite beads. This piece is from the 1970's at my best estimate. Not only is it a fashion forward vintage piece, but the bold design and soft gold and white color palette is relevant for today's fashions.
