The color is exceptional and is richer and redder than a caramel brown, but still has luscious caramel tones in it. Almost indescribable, this is one of the most beautiful colors we have worked with.
The leather itself is equally exquisite. It is extremely durable and naturally rugged, but still edgy and elegant all at the same time. It has been buffed to give it a semi slick and slightly glossy surface which not only adds to the durability of the piece but also gives it a polished, glamorous finished look.
Alligator leather is a highly sought after leather, not only for it's natural beauty and magnificent natural texture, but also because it will stand up to decades of wear and will only improve with age. This piece is no exception!
We have set this with a gold toned snap, but can also set these in silver.

Please note: Due to the fact that we use real, genuine exotic leathers, no two pieces will ever be identical. Each will have it's own unique markings and texture. But this is part of what makes owning an exotic leather accessory so wonderful, you are always assured a completely unique piece! Also be aware that alligators are very aggressive animals. They rely heavily on their tails during altercations with other animals which occasionally result in injuries and subsequently scars. Some scars are visible even after tanning. These are not defects but rather visual records this particular animals life!
