These earrings are as colorful as they come, thanks to the coolest discovery I've made in months ~ gorgeous, intricately designed, bright and ever-changing Mirage Mood beads. These are not the mood beads of my youth: With their beautiful patterns, they'd be lovely even in black and white, but here, when changes in temperature or mood take them from darkest brown to brightest purple, they are absolutely stunning!
The centerpiece 23mm teardrop-shaped Mood beads are light and lovely, with intricate designs on the surface. As you wear them, their colors will change (see chart below) ~ Of course this is at least partly a reaction to changes in your body temperature and ambient temperatures, but it's certainly more fun to imagine that the colors reflect your moods, which may change as often -- and as subtly -- as the temperatures and colors (see below). Tiny (3mm) copper bicone beads nestle into the base of the Mood beads, and wavy hammered copper disks hug their tops. 8mm bright purple Czech crystals nestle in the copper disks -- and appear to change colors with the mirage beads! 4mm shimmering copper stardust balls finish the earrings on top.**

Bead-to-bead, these earrings measure 1-1/3 inch. They hang, light as can be, 2 inches from lightly copper French hooks OR leverbacks (not shown).**

*It's awfully fun to believe in the MOOD beads. I'll include a color-coded guide with your earrings, but here's a list that corresponds with these beads: BROWN: stressed; YELLOW: cautious; GREEN: comfortable, warming; BLUE: content, happy; PURPLE: joyful
**Ear wires can be changed upon request ~ In addition to changing style (leverback or French), you may wish to try a lightly antiqued copper. Please contact me prior to ordering. A small charge may apply for ear wires in sterling silver and 14k gold/gold-filled.
