-Each figure is handcrafted with recycled cotton muslin, wool felt, and drawn freehand on my sewing machine.
-The figures are colored with non toxic pigment dyes, and then heat set with an iron.
-The Little Mermaid's and the prince statue's faces are hand-embroidered with cotton embroidery thread.
-The Little Mermaid has a removable tale, so that the dark transformation from mermaid to human can take place right in front of your eyes. This set would make a lovely addition to a Montessori or Waldorf classroom, or a fun companion to a library story hour.
-They are stuffed with organic cotton fibers, and The Little Mermaid and her tail have super strong neodymium magnets that are sewn (not glued!) into place so they are sure to withstand story hours for years to come.
Your set arrives in a reusable handmade muslin drawstring bag--which can be used for storage of your Little Mermaid or any number of other things around your house or classroom.
