An outstanding 1910s-1920s two-tiered necklace with lead glass briolettes. The necklace has a delicate, krinkle-link, paperclip chain. There are two pairs of clear glass bicones at the juncture where the tiers split. Here a short chain suspends a cluster of clear bicones and a blue briolette crystal. Further down, at the base of the necklace, another cluster of bicones suspends a larger blue briolette. This repeated pattern of the beads and crystals, hanging in festoon style, is absolutely stunning. The glass is in excellent condition. Some tarnish to the chain creating a lovely patina. Secures with the original barrel clasp.
Measurements: 15.5" (first tier), 23" (second tier)
