Condition: The straw weave is incredibly strong and solid so you will have absolutely no worries about losing your personal items that you carry within it. There are some weave pieces that have broken off the underlying thick wood/grass stem strap. You can see these spots in the pics, but they are only on the handle area, and the handle is a 1/4 inch thick solid piece of curves wood or extremely thick stem of some sort....it is very strong and solid. Then there is the genuine tooled leather top. You can see that the leather is old and has some surface cracking as pictured, but it too is very solid and easily opens and closes without putting any stress on it. It is still very flexible. For a aged vintage bag such as this, it is still in great condition for you to use it every day! You will be pleased with this incredible find!

circumference is 42 inches. approximately 14 inches tall, 13.5 inches across, 6 inches thick at the bottom and about 4.5 at the top. The open handle area between the top of the handle measuring down to the leather flap atop the storage compartment is about 6.75 inches.
