This book was written by Carlo Collodi, translated by Joseph Walker, and illustrated by Richard Floethe. There is an introduction by May Lamberton Becker (General Editor, Rainbow Classics). It was published by The World Publishing Company, Cleveland New York, in 1946. 239 pages. It measures 5 3/4" wide and 8 1/2" tall.

There are 4 or 5 full-page color illustrations and a black and white illustration at the start of each chapter (37 chapters)

Condition: The biding is tight, the pages are crisp. There is some writing in pencil inside the back cover (see photo). There is not a dust jacket. The cover is clean with slight wear to the edges. Pages have yellowed into a consistent beige color.
