Ceramic olive green heishi, recycled african bottle glass beads, silver accents, the focal bead is a mosaic indonesian lampwork glass bead, and 2 old Dutch pipes.
Those are real pipes, the farmers used to smoke in the old days. once the straw was broken, they were abandoned, to be found back a couple of centuries later, cleaned and sold on the flea market in Amsterdam, where i found them, with no idea of what they were...
The smaller they are, the older: tobacco used to be very expensive back then. those 2 are dated around 1620.
the necklace closes with a sterling silver toggle clasp.
