The most fun part about this pattern is the way the green glaze settles into the etched lines that form the petals, to create a very subtle but sweet look. While plates of various sizes aboud, these particular pieces are almost impossible to find!
I also have the matching cups and saucers available in my shop here:
This set would be charming in your Hoosier or vintage kitchen or dining room! There are other lovely colors of Petalware to collect, too, including a burgundy red, pink, white and a luscious blue shade. Think how marvelous a collection of different colored Petalware would look! (If I'm not careful, I'll convince myself to keep this set ... !)
All three pieces are in excellent vintage condition, with absolutely no chips or cracks. As you would expect in pottery of this age, there is a moderate amount of crazing, which is cracking in the glaze *only *as the pottery and glaze responded differently to changing temperatures over the years.
The creamer stands 3 1/2" tall, while the sugar and teapot are 5" tall to the top of the finials on their lids. The pieces can be used, but shouldn't be put in the dishwasher or microwave -- they were never made to stand up to those inventions!
Shipping charges are estimates so I don't get burned shipping to the other hemisphere, and if you don't see your non-U.S. location listed specifically, don't hesitate to convo me for a precise quote.
