The back of the pendant reads "The best hearts are ever the bravest."
All of the beads, the clasp, and the crimps are sterling silver. The clasp is a handmade sterling silver hook that fits into a sterling silver chain which extends the length of the necklace for a custom fit.
The fossilized wood beads measure approximately 1/4" across (6 mm), and the horse pendant is 7/8" across and 13/16" long (21.5 mm x 21 mm).
The beads are strung on .019 Soft-Flex wire, which is very strong and supple.
