This plate is fired on a high temperature and is therefore fit for daily use or to put it on a wall as wall art. However, it's really old and best treated gently! I don't recommend putting it in the dishwasher (though it shouldn't be a problem if it happens once ;)): it should be dishwasher-safe, but I can't guarantee the colors remain as vivid as they are now in the long run. So just a bit of hot water and soap will keep this guy in good shape!
