The decks come in turquoise organza bags with drawstring closures. Each deck contains an instructional sheet listing ways to use the cards in schools and classrooms. There are 80 different inspirational messages in each deck. Cards make a wonderful teacher or principal gift, or could be used for a staff appreciation present.
These cards were designed to be used to help teachers and principals think about the ways they reach and teach students and staff. They were designed to promote new learning, develop reflexive practices, and encourage risk-taking. One way of using the deck is to choose a card, and then ask colleagues what they know about the concept or ways they bring this to their classrooms. They then can conduct online research of the idea, and/ or ask their students about what a teacher might do to promote this.
