Steampunk Octopus and Gears Barrette

This barrette was inspired by the deep sea adventures characterised by H.G. Wells (and also a little bit of H. P. Lovecraft). The hair piece features a large darkened brass octopus, backed by two inch brass gears. From some angles it almost looks as though the tentacles are intertwined through the gears! The detailing on is nice, and the entire thing (including the barrette part) is made from brass. How delightfully steampunk!
