The knife measures 4.5" in length when closed. The blade is stainless steel and measures 3" in length. The blade opens and shuts smoothly. When open, the blade locks firmly into place. The knife also has a nice "weighty" feel weighing in at over 6 oz.
The handle is made of rosewood. I can engrave up to 3 lines of text on the handle. For example, if this knife is for a groomsman:
Line 1: Name
Line 2: Groomsman
Line 3: Date
As you can see from the photos the etching is crisp with a nice contrast.
This knife also includes a mini-flashlight which folds out of the upper side. The flashlight works well and is bright. A battery is already included.
There is a belt clip mounted on the backside of the knife.
