This beautiful cherry burl bowl would be a great accent to any decor. There are three natural holes in this bowl and two natural cracks. There are a few lines or crevices where the bugs got in the wood and left their trail. The reddish brown colors along with the unusual markings in the wood grain make this bowl out of this world. The ripples of the wood can be seen and felt. This comes from turning and sanding the wood while it is green and still wet and through the drying process the wood takes on a style of its own.
Since size is hard to determine from a picture, I have included an apple in the last photo to help you gauge the size.
This bowl is 7 to 7-1/2 inches in diameter and stands 3-1/2 to 5 inches tall. It is finished with a lacquer finish.
