This particular piece is part of a collection of beads i have been working on for the past few months. For some crazy reason, I feel like it's important for me to be making beads that are too large to wear. I think its interesting to be making something that starts on the concept of one thing but evolves into something different. This bead is not reasonable to wear. It is heavy, large, and elaborate. It weighs over 4 ounces. This bead is part of the evolution of my scrollwork skill.
The bead is 42.5 mm at the widest point of the cone, 13 mm at the bottom of the cone, 20 mm at the topper, 98 mm total length.
All of my beads are made by me, completely by hand. I use Moretti, Vetrofond, Lauscha, ASK, CIM, Double Helix, and Reichenbach glass. All beads are kiln annealed to ensure strength.
Any questions or concerns, please contact me! I enjoy what I do and I hope that you like my work! Enjoy!
