Another piece of my collection with which I hate to part--I hope you'll treasure it as much as I have. I'm not sure what year it is, but my best guess is turn-of-the-century (the 20th, that is.) If you'd like serial number, I can provide it. It is an American Waltham mechanism in a Keystone/J Boss 20 year gold-filled floral design case.
Case is in good to very good condition considering the age, with minor scratches, no significant dents or dings, and a slightly copper-colored patina (it is not quite as dark in normal light as pictures 3 and 4 suggest, however.) The plating on the fob ring and hinges is worn significantly, but the glass is immaculate with no visible cracks and only very minor scratches from normal use (to be expected given its age.)
Measures appx. 2 inches by 2 1/2 inches.
This is a lovely watch. Keeps time well when properly wound. Mechanism sounds great. I'm not a horologist so I can't say anything beyond this. No fob, sorry.
Insurance is included in shipping price.
Price is negotiable. I will issue a coupon code to meet a reasonable offer.
I am willing to send video of the watch running in front of a current newspaper to satisfy any concerns.
