My wearable figures stand 14.5cms/5ins high and are made from cotton fabric, which is carefully sewn and hand stuffed, with the signature Whskr raw edge and before being embellished with hand sewn beads and sequins, and topped with the cutest Art Deco inspired flapper button and an Hill Tribe Silver knitting charm ( she is a Knit in Public kind of girl!).
This little lady wears a lace skirt with delicate blue trim decorated with a single flamboyant blue sequin. She feels firm to the touch and is robust enough to sit nicely on a coat, jacket or cardigan, she also looks pretty cool hung from a ribbon as a decorative little feature at home..
A brooch back is securely sewn to the reverse with 'invisible' sewing thread that blends well with the white cotton fabric and this brooch attachment also doubles as the hanger. Many of my customers have told me they love to display Whskr brooches when they are not being worn - I thought this was an awesome idea and had to share!
