Why should taxidermy be confined to the wall??
Here we have a stunning specimen of the species Canis Lupus; the Gray Wolf. Journey is a lovely lone wolf, searching for a pack to call her own. Jouney's homeland is the vast Alaskan tundra, but she will be perfectly at home with you, content to snuggle on your couch or follow you to the local renaissance faire or classroom.
Soft Sculpture taxidermy is a form of taxidermy in which a pelt is not mounted over a rigid form body. The head is mounted on a lightweight foam form, with beautiful pale gray glass eyes. The body is stuffed with plush stuffing, like a teddy bear. This wolf is totally soft and snuggly, she can be positioned in many different poses and makes an amazingly realistic puppet! This particular wolf does NOT have wire in the legs and body, however I can do that on request! ($50 upcharge)
Journey is a gorgeous silvery gray wolf, with striking white guard hairs and saddle. She is large, measuring in at about 6' from nose to tail. About the size of a German Shepherd Dog.
The pelt used to make this piece is 100% natural northern wolf fur, harvested in Alaska as part of predation control. As it is natural, it is one of a kind and may have scars and other minor blemishes. Gorgeous, soft silky fur has been professionally garment tanned to last many, many years. This wolf has US Department of Fish and Wildlife CITES tag attached. US buyers only, please.
**Certain states have regulations against owning wolf pelts. Please check your local laws before purchasing**
