i wanted to intentionally cut the screen printing process out of my work and move to block printing. one reason is that it is more environmental, no emulsion or reclaiming chemicals and no extra ink to wash down the drain. another reason is that i wanted to have a more personal organic look to my work. as i do like precision, and striver for it in certain areas, i see it too much in fabric and t shirt design. i wanted to provide something more, something unique every time. yet another reason is that i wanted to be a part of a craft that is obscure. finally, it is cost efficient. no waisted ink, no execs of finished product, no need for costly equipment and toxic chemicals. just printing as ordered.
i could not be more pleased with the results.
what you see here is medium weight organic cotton twill block printed with water based ink. wear it loose or wrap it tight. each dress is made to order and pattern will be the same as pictured. the pattern can vary from the pictured pattern, but ONLY upon request. since there is no screen, variations are possible. just ask... do you want all black print? no problem. do you want all blue print? no problem.. do you want just zig zag? no problem..
if you do not make a variation request the top will be STONE fabric and printed exactly as pictured.
stone is the fabric color pictured. if you would like another color fabric please refer to organic color swatch. i will print black on darker color variations. BLACK FABRIC IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS ITEM...
