A vintage (1980's) striped skirt has been appliqued with my narwhal design. The narwhal is made of red floral print cotton for the body and vintage gold fabric for the horn, with a black button for an eye. Before sewing them on, both layers of the applique were heat bonded to the skirt for clean lines and extra durability. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low.
The skirt features hidden side pockets and a very hidden side zipper closure inside the left pocket. The fabric is 65% polyester, 35% rayon. It's very soft with a little bit of weight to it, making a great skirt for crisp weather.
This is approximately a US size 8, but I have taken the following measurements:
waist- 30"
hip- 48"
length- 24"
Fabric does not provide stretch.
