This extremely rustic set of six Christmas ornaments and tree topper are a perennial favorite in my neck of the woods. I hand cut each one from 18 gauge steel, then rust them to achieve a bright rust patina.
The ornaments are hung with a six inch piece of jute. Measuring about five inches across, each is graced with a spiral that has been expanded away from the about a half inch. Since each spiral is hand drawn so every ornament will be different.
The tree topper measures about seven inches across and has a 3/4 inch diameter by 1 3/4 inch long tube welded on for tree mounting. As with the ornaments, it is left unfinished so the weld marks will show through on the front.
They have a very organic look to them because I intentionally leave the slag on and use the back of the piece as the front to show it off. (Slag is the melted remains of metal that sticks to the back of the cut.) The rust color also contrasts nicely with the green of the tree. Many people use them the year round as ornaments on the exterior trees. Either as a gift, or for yourself, these ornaments will be around for generations.

Since this piece is made to order, there is a one week turn around time for purchases. I know it seems like a long time, but there are usually gobs of orders back logged and an occasional day off is nice. So, please don't expect to receive your order for about 2 weeks after payment, although it may ship sooner, depending on how many orders there are ahead of yours. As always, you pay the shipping for one piece, and the rest are shipped free!
