This cute little bowl was turned from a piece of spalted maple that the ambrosia beetle had entered into. The darker wood in the bottom along with the bug holes are a result of this. The bark was left on the edge of this bowl for a more rustic look. This bowl is just adorable and could be used to hold wrapped candy or any small items.

I have included an apple in the last photo for size comparison.

It measures 5 to 6 inches in diameter and approximately 3 inches tall. It is finished with a lacquer finish.
