The poem reads:
sometimes you have to find
a small cave to sleep in on the top of a not so hard to climb mountain,
woken by moon so bright, you think someone has found you by flashlight
49 bridges is an homage to the many bridges we build here, inside the golden gate. these are the bridges we hope to cross, the bridges of desire we find ourselves on the other side of. some fill us with wonder, some break our hearts. but ultimately, these bridges are what bring us here, keep us here, and help us know who we are.
all my poems are typed on a vintage typewriter in 3 minutes or less, with the image on the page to speaking inspiration for the poem.
i hope you enjoy this poetry art piece as much as I enjoyed making it!
