Unlike most of my other mirrors, this mirror is made through a process call verre eglomise (gilded glass). This mirror is made by reverse gilding the glass with silver-metal leaf.

The reflection is clear but somewhat foggy, suggestive of antique mercury glass mirrors.

The frame is a vintage wood frame that's been refinished in lightly rusted iron with a warm wash.
