i created molds of the leaves from my artemisia plant. if you ever have grown this plant, you know it has a distinct fragrance.
the leaves are so feathery and are the loveliest shade of grayish green. named after the Greek goddess Artemis.

i created the earrings from bronze clay. composed of mostly copper, with a little tin, the clay is kiln fired to emerge a solid piece of bronze metal. a patina and sealant were added.
each bronze earring is unique. the palest pink, almost white gemstones complement each.
the handmade sterling silver ear wires were oxidized, and polished.
