Stipelo the Lion was trapped in a zoo for many years until one day, he broke free. After his escape, a man named Blusabi stepped out of the crowd and talked him down. Really, though, he just reached out with a tub of popcorn and sprinkled some in a cage, and Stipelo followed the trail (Stipelo prefers ice cream to raw meat). Blusabi taught him how to perform in front of large audiences under the lights and tent of a grand circus, but really he just motivated Stipelo with candy. Now - he is happy to perform for anyone who likes a good meal, even if it is just blended carrots.
Stipelo is made from a combination of fleece, faux fur, corduroy and cotton fabrics, recycled felt, embroidery thread and stuffed with PolyFil.
Surface details are hand-stitched, while the body was machine-sewn for strength.
Stipelo stands 19.5 inches tall and 10.5 inches wide, claw-to-claw.
Stipelo is 100% handmade with love in a non-smoking environment. He is one-of-a-kind with approximately 4.5 hours of hand-stitching involved. If he needs a bath, hand-washing is preferred.
Included with Stipelo is a hand-illustrated hangtag.
