Early Victorian (Romantic) Period, 1837-1860
The young Queen Victoria's youth, courtship and marriage is reflected in the early years of the Victorian era and described as romantic or sentimental. Popular fashion included extremely large brooches worn in Vogue, Victorian rings, and large bracelets designed to make the hand look dainty and feminine. This jewelry is handmade and very rare, often featuring nature-inspired designs such as leaves and birds, floral and scroll motifs are used.
This ring is currently a size 7 and could be sized a bit up or down for a small fee, please message me for details.
The two main diamonds are approximately .20 carats each, with 7 rose and table cut diamonds to make a total estimated weight of .60 carats. The ring face measurements are 1.6cm in length by 1cm in width.
The carat weight of rose cut diamonds and table cut diamonds are very hard to estimate exactly without removing them from the mounting, which would be foolish considering the age and value of this ring. Therefore, this is an estimate weight.
