This necklace is a genuine product of my obsessiveness! I created this pendant, and some other things, in a fit of texturing and riveting a couple weeks ago. When it came time to turn it into something wearable, I couldn't bear to settle for a design that didn't feel just exactly right. I started riffling through the myriad possible permutations of beads and stringing materials yesterday afternoon (one of the drawbacks of having lots of beads! LOTS of permutations) and then late this morning this piece finally found its identity. Three winter white stick pearls, with hints of periwinkle at their tips, triangular rough-cut garnets, and two tiny glass tile beads in periwinkle join the metalwork pendant, which features two different, subtle floral patterns, to lengths of copper-plated steel ladder chain. A short length of wide, buttery soft deerskin leather in chocolate brown at the back adds comfort. It fastens at the front with a handmade (by me!) copper toggle clasp.
The necklace as pictured measures 21", but I can easily lengthen it by adding more chain (or shorten it, for that matter, by removing chain links). Just convo me with your preferred length and I will alter it for no additional charge.
