vintage rhinestone necklace / 1940s jewelry / lavalier / STATE DINNER

A beautiful, mid-century lavalier done in Art Deco style. The necklace is set in silvertone base metal and studded with rhinestones. The chain is made of rhinestone-set, oval-shaped links. Both sides descend to two wider, pierced links that support the elegant drop. The drop has three parts: an upper, hinged finding; a two-tiered, openwork piece and three dangling rhinestone drops. The drop has great movement and the necklace is in excellent condition - no stones missing or dull. Secures with a spring ring clasp.
