Imagine a room filled with festive party-go'ers in the 1950's. The attire is cocktail, after 7 and the mood is light. You look up because you can't help but notice a very large and magnificent hand-beaded Disco Ball. It's covered in layers of silver toned paillettes that are as free as the night.
I could only imagine. However, you can recreate the scene with this one-of-a-kind (almost original in theme), vintage fixture.
This ball is soft and not as heavy as you would imagine. It can hang with ease, due to the lengthy loop that can be tied around almost anything that would support it. The silver toned paillettes are joined with complimentary seed bead loops. This combination makes for a very interesting and bubbly conversation piece.
I am in love with the idea that this piece is Vintage and it was used to entertain many. Maybe it was a fixture housed in a room that was occasionally filled with important people and events.
As far a wear and tear, it is minimal considering the age of this piece. The silver pallets have wear in color, but they still shimmer very nicely when the piece twirls and sways. This is a larger sized piece so it will be so glamorous and captivating in any sized room. The approximate size is 75" in diameter.
This is Old Hollywood.
