A very special process went into dying this yarn. When aging paper or fabric, sometimes artists will "tea dye" or "coffee wash" an item to give it that vintage and aged feeling. That is what I did with this yarn! This yarn was kettle dyed with coffee and cherry kool aid. I only use professional methods to set the color and special washes to clear the excess dye and make what's left permanent. The process takes a couple of days to finish. The result is one of a kind, never to be duplicated again.
The colors range from a dusty rose to a buttercream yellow. Believe it or not, coffee doesn't turn yarn brown, it turns it yellow or cream. This yarn reminds me of soft morning sunrises, and cabbage roses. Very shabby chic.
This is a Sport Weight yarn, perfect for socks (the nylon gives it stretch), or baby garments, fingerless mitts, or even a beautiful beret! Merino is one of the softest wools, and this yarn is so soft to the touch. Perfect for close-to-the-skin garments.

While this is a superwash yarn, I recommend hand washing to maintain quality and longevity. All my yarns are one of a kind hand dyed, heat set, and rinsed clear.
I’ve tried to accurately capture the color of yarn in the picture, but please keep in mind that monitor settings vary.
