The blank paper consists of 60 sheets of recycled, acid-free, 24 lb. white paper, which is smooth enough to write upon easily, but with a bit of a tooth to it, which makes it great for sketching as well. It's all bound with a sturdy, wire coil binding that allows the book to lie flat. Measures approximately 6 1/4" x 8 1/4" (including wire binding). The book's covers show some wear, which is part of the nature and character you find with a previously loved, recycled book.
