This sign is made from reclaimed wood from a dock in coastal North Carolina that was destroyed in a hurricane. The wood is naturally worn and weathered from years in the intracoastal waterway and has found new life in a unique way. Each sign is handpainted, and I leave original holes and the occasional hardware in the wood for added character and charm. You can own a piece of the coast and add a coastal cottage vibe to your home decor.
Painted with teal lettering and a white flower, this sign measures 18" x 5.5" x1.5". The one pictured sits on a flat surface, but I can add sawtooth hangers or a sisal rope for it to hang if you'd prefer. Simply add a note on your order at check out. It is coated with a satin polyurethane finish. Each sign is made to order, so while yours will look like the one pictured, it will vary slightly based on the characteristics of the wood. If you'd like to request a different color, please include a comment at check out, and I'd be happy to customize it for you.
Take a look at my other signs in my shop at http://www.docksidecottage.etsy.com. I love custom orders, so you can send me a message if you'd like to discuss custom possibilities. A portion of my sales goes to hurricane relief efforts in coastal communities. Thank you for the opportunity to make a unique gift for you while helping others.
