caramel plastic case with white speaker grille to lid, white interior, chrome knobs and carrying handle to exterior
has four speeds: 16rpm, 33rpm, 45rpm and 78rpm (the knob doesn't turn easily to the 78 rpm however, might just need a bit of force)
the awa still plays a record, but the volume only works at one pitch (not excessively loud). needle works well, but may be worth replacing due to the age of the player (approximately 50 years). very small hairline crack to the plastic on the side of the case and looks like one of the hinges at the back has been superglued back into place, otherwise fantastic condition
history of the AWA - in 1913, an amalgamation took place between Marconi's Wireless Telegraph Co. Ltd and the Australian Wireless Company. this merger formed Amalgamated Wireless (Australasia) Ltd. the new company operated until 1988, when it became AWA Limited
