It’s a Hoot!,, A beanie style hat done in beautiful cables to create an owl pattern all around the brim. The “owls” eyes are buttons which are attached during the actual crochet work and not sewn after. So no sewing on later!!! Standard 5/8 Inch buttons were used, but pony beads may be used as well.
Stylish and classy for the adults and yet very cute and fun for the kids too!
Pattern is written in three sizes:
Adult size measures 20 Inches around X 8 1/2 Inches tall and has 6 “owls” around. Uses 12 Buttons.
Child/toddler size measures 17 Inches around X 7 Inches tall and has 5 “owls” around. Uses 10 Buttons.
Baby size measures 15 Inches around X 6 Inches tall and has 5 "owls" around. Uses 10 Buttons.
Written in American Standard terms and knowledge of front post crochet is required. This is not a beginner pattern due to the cabling design. Permission to sell finished items with credit for design.
Uses Caron Simply Soft yarn and an H crochet hook.
