The panels of this necklace are all cut from one large river stone. I slice it with a diamond saw, then cut out each panel and polish it to a matte finish. Then I mask off the top of each stone and cut out the design to be sand blasted. Sterling silver hollow formed bezels are formed around each piece and the stone is set into them. The bird is carved in wax and cast into sterling, then soldered onto the square tubing. The clasp is hand made and adds a beautiful finish to the piece.
